VME DPM2190 DUAL PORT MEMORY
Product Description
This 6U unit is based on our VTR2525, where we have removed the two 16–bit ADCs and engineered in a front–panel data–port, with two 16–bit TTL data buses and strobes. The unit is externally clocked at up to 1MHz.
The board is equipped with a VXI addressing structure using A16/A32, D32, D16 and D08 formats. The memory size is 256Kx32–bit (longwords). If data is being read in via the front–panel port the memory can be set up in frames of a programmable size in multiples of 256 up to 256K. When the board is not in continuous mode it can be armed, whereupon data is entered into the next available frame, and at the end of the frame the unit is automatically disarmed and an interrupt generated if masked and enabled. In continuous mode the interrupt is generated but the unit remains armed and acquisition continues into the next frame. The EOF status is generated as a TTL level at a front–panel output socket to synchronise external hardware.
