9000 Series Signal Conditioning Boards

INTRODUCTION

The 9000 Series are small analogue signal conditioning boards used to route signals from Industry Pack I/O to front panel SCSI connectors in the IOC 9010, VME64X VTB 8307 Mixed Signal Transition Board and VTB8308
4-Group Mixed Signal Transition Board.
Some boards include sites with the option of  fitting R-C low-pass filters which can be selected by jumpers to be in or out of circuit. Additionally, optional plug-in 5V to +/-12V DC-DC converters can be used with some boards to facilitate powering the plant side of isolated analogue circuits.

DESCRIPTION

Cat No Name Description
9202 SCB 9202 Analogue Signal Conditioning Board

Sixteen pairs of circuits are signal conditioned by resistor-capacitor filter networks. These can be enabled or by-passed by selection jumpers. A power connector accepts isolated +/-12Vpower from the main board and routes it to particular pins on the SCSI and IP-I/O connectors.

9212 SCB 9212 Multiplexer Board The board is primarily intended to route 1 group of 16 analogue inputs from PT100 or thermocouple terminal boards to IP-MADC-8403 card. It has R-C filters across the differential inputs of the ADCs.  Noise filters are provided for all 16 channels. For use with 8919-P Platinum Thermometer DIN Rail Terminal Board
9301 SCB 9301 Digital Input Signal Conditioning Board

Sixteen optically isolated pairs of circuits are isolated together with two input strobes and two output strobes. All circuit pairs are current limited to 4.7mA and protected from over-voltage by zener diodes. A power connector accepts isolated +/-12V power from the main board and routes it to pins 49 and 50 on the SCSI connector.

9303

SCB 9303 Digital Output Signal Conditioning Board

Sixteen pairs of circuits are isolated together with two input strobes and two output strobes. All circuit pairs are current limited and protected from over-voltage by zener diodes. A power connector accepts isolated +/-12Vpower from the main board and routes it to pins 49 and 50 on the SCSI connector.

9304 SCB 9304 Straight-through Signal Conditioning Board

A small straight-through signal conditioning card.

9305 SCB 9305 Digital Input/Output Signal Conditioning Board

Sixteen optically isolated pairs of circuits organised as eight inputs and eight outputs are optically isolated together with two input strobes and two output strobes. All input circuit pairs are current limited and all circuits are protected from over-voltage by zener diodes. A power connector accepts isolated +/-12V power from the main board and routes it to particular pins on the SCSI connector.

9307 SCB 9307 32bit Isolated Digital Input Signal Conditioning Board

A small optically isolated 32-channel signal conditioning board used to route signals from front panel SCSI connectors to a group of I/O  in the VDIO8005 when mounted on a VME64X VTB 8308  Transition Board. Thirty two pairs of circuits are isolated. All circuits are current limited to 4.7mA. A logic 1 is asserted when current is drawn from the input diode of each circuit to isolated ground. A power connector accepts isolated +5V power from the transition board to power the pull-up resistors on the outputs.

9308 SCB 9308 32bit Isolated Digital Output Signal Conditioning Board

A small optically isolated 32-channel signal conditioning board used to route signals to front panel SCSI connectors from one group of  I/O  in the VDIO8005 when mounted on a VME64X VTB 8308  Transition Board. Thirty two pairs of circuits provided isolated MOSFET transistor switch outputs. All circuits are current limited to 2A. A logic 1 is asserted in each circuit when current is switched to isolated ground. The output clamp voltage is 50V. Transition rise times are 1.5us.
